Wow! This has been an incredible experience, and there is still so much to do. From a crazy, off-the-wall idea The Fauxpocalypse Project has grown into a real book. Right now we are working on peer-editing the stories, which is going really well. I need to get on the ball with the paperwork and such to create an actually publishing company, but I have done enough research to think I can handle that.
After that… let’s see–writing the contracts, setting up accounts, formatting the e-book, doing the cover, formatting the paperback. Busy, busy busy. A lot of work.
But, damn, it’s a lot of fun.
I suppose that if I have learned any one pithy principle to share with my readers it’s this: Don’t let not knowing what the hell you’re doing keep you from doing it.
Step one, jump. Step two, build parachute.
